ASEAN countries have committed on building a more resilient and sustainable future as agreed upon during the 37th ASEAN Summit held last November 2020. This is crucial because the region produces 3.5 percent of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions and will be severely affected by climate change. Sustainability measures such as the use of renewable energy, constructing green infrastructure and transport, responsible investing, and improving disaster management should be prioritized in this post-pandemic recovery
