The Asia Pacific has made great strides in improving universal electricity access (SDG7). Current projections suggest that, by 2030, everyone in the region will have access to electricity. However, more needs to be done to enhance energy quality and quantity. To achieve this, an integrated approach based on technological, institutional and business innovation, is required.
